lovely week

I have been enjoying my week, I have been visiting lots of craft fairs.I would of liked to have been a stall holder, but not got enough stock.I have brought some early Christmas presents and bits for the house, some lovely glass wear.Even though I did not get to do a stall it was educating.I took notice of how people displayed there stock and things they were selling.Have you ever done a craft stall of your own?
This week also has been lovely in that I celebrated  my wedding anniversary. My hubby brought me a gourgeous bunch of flowers, with all the colours I adore. He also brought me a book I wanted for so long"homespun by Selina Lake"
I have also started another project, and will have to get back to the other I started another time. This new project is going to be a blanket, it uses up little balls of left over wool effectivly.I have lots left since my ripple blanket.
Any way hope I have not rammbled on, Hope you have all have a lovely weekend : ) xxxx

  1. Happy anniversary Joy! It does sound like you've had a great week! I love craft fairs and I used to sell at them years ago. I did a lot of decorative painting back then. It's fun to sell at fairs because you can chat with the lovely people who visit your booth, but lugging everything to and from, and the set up is a lot of work, plus if you're selling outside, a tent is a good idea. :) Your anniversary flowers are so pretty, and your crocheted squares are looking so cozy already and they're not even a blanket yet! xo

  4. Congratulations on your anniversary Joy! It's a good idea to visit fairs and gather together some ideas for when you are prepared yourself. As Paulette mentioned, the setting up and then clearing away seems like hard work and puts me off!!!
Beautiful squares, flowers and book - how lovely - considerate and caring hubby! Joy xo

  8. I love craft fairs and have done a few but you need lots of stock and I usually had lots left to take home. It's tricky because I used to end up with lots of orders as people would say I love that hat or scarf but could you knit it in such a colour. Happy Anniversary and good luck if you do a fair x

  9. Happy anniversary!

Oh, you lucky one - visiting craft fairs is nice.

I have just shopped at craft fairs the last years. Selling - it takes much work and you never know how much you will earn. I guess it is good when you find a fair you really like before you start selling.

What will you make for the fair?
