Here is a little something I made over a few evening using up odds and ends. I really enjoyed making each flower and trying out different colour combinations.
My inspiration came from a very creative blog. http://ak-at-home.blogspot.co.uk/. She designed some really pretty flowers which I thought would make gourgeous bunting.
I followed her pattern by looking at her clear photos of each stage in creating the flower.I tweaked her pattern slightly but not much.
I have never written a pattern before, but will try to write one if any one is interested in making one ♡

Hi, such a lovely bunting. I like the pillows on your bed too. The flower you made is a lot like the African flower hexigons I am making and crocheting into a blanket. I have all my pieces done now but need a bit of time to sew them together. It will be so good to finally get it done. What will you make next ?
ReplyDeleteHi there, I cannot wait to see your finished blanket. Its going to look stunning once finished x
DeleteThis is really adorable :-) You have a great talent, when you can look at a pattern and understand it well! I love the bunting and that pillow is so cute! Did you make it?
ReplyDeleteThanks im naughty I hate following patterns and like to free style it. Unfortunately I didn't make the cushions, they where brought from Next and, tescos x
DeleteThat is so beautiful friend! If I could make something like that I would hang one everywhere! The colors and the style of your flowers are just fantastic! Wishing you a wonderful Sunday! Nicole xoxo
